I have been practicing yoga since the 70s but only trained and qualified in 2012 so a slow burn! I teach Hatha yoga which really just means it’s a gentle style, accessible to all. 
 

It really is never too late to start! None of us are too old, too stiff or the wrong shape! Yoga is never about ‘pain to gain’ but rather about getting to know your body and its limits and potential. There is no perfect pose but there is pleasure and peace.

Each class involves movements to free up your body and muscles, some poses to strengthen it and an awareness of how to utilise your breath. A final relaxation is vital to the process of absorbing those benefits.
As a teacher I love to encourage each person to enjoy their yoga, to feel good in their body, breathe well and relax mentally. See you on the mat!
